Women Opinion: Russia is not a brothel !Legalization of prostitution is unacceptable !
Women's Opinion / / August 12, 2017
Liberal Europeans in recent decades have become more loyal attitude towards prostitution.Among the countries that legalized this "business" - conservative Italy and the United Kingdom, Islamic Turkey and, of course, open to all new fashion trends Netherlands. Here, the "night butterflies" unionized, pay taxes and receive the insurance. In addition, they are required to have the documents testifying to their health and have no right to stick to the customers on the street.Sounds nice? Some political figures ... hmm ... in Russia, too, like the idea of legalizing prostitution. And after hearing their arguments on this schem, portal "Women's opinion" conducted its survey to know the ratio of women to the fact that prostitution in our country one day become as ordinary profession as a cook or seamstress.
categorical "no" to the official status of prostitutes said the majority of Russian women (52.1% of respondents).First of all, they fear that the business will be pulled young girls, big and hungry for quick money under the guise of state. Some believe that the act would be meaningless: the prostitutes will be obliged to pay taxes, but does not provide any rights and freedoms. But in general, women do not want a great transformation in the country's official brothel and women into a commodity.Prostitution should not exist as a phenomenon - they say - and prostitutes have no place in a civilized society. No mother, never in my life will not want her daughter to become a prostitute. And even more so we do not want to live in a country where the state would have earned in the sale of women.
other words Russian women much closer to the experience of the most successful in the world of the Nordic countries where prostitution introduced criminal penalties. And it is not for women - prostitutes and men - their clients.
24.5% were unable to give a definite answer. They recognize all the advantages of this step, but having disadvantages or moral values do not allow us to say "yes."
And only the remaining 23.4% think the idea interesting and progressive."I think any of the things that is not hazardous to the parties and others, can be legalized" - one of the participants expressed the survey. This side of the "fence" is trying to divide and promoting the legalization of prostitution, believing that nothing bad for society as a whole does not happen - only the state budget will increase.Maybe someone of these women considering a legal brothel as a place to work. But in general, as is known, this view is typical for our liberal media traditionally advocating for the legalization of all that bad: gambling and gay marriage to the drug.To transform Russia into the global casino with holiday sales of drugs and gay marches through the streets of cities - it seems quite a idea.
But as it became clear from the survey results, more than half of Russians do not differ in tolerance and European women still consider prostitution a shameful occupation that has no place in society. Our citizens are still set conservatively. It is unlikely that their position will change drastically in the coming years, and Russian prostitutes receive work books and legal retirement along with other workers.
Among respondents - women from 130 cities of Russia, from 20 to 45 years old.In total 3590 people participated in the survey.
